"Surprisingly after autonomy of the nation, myself, an IAS officer from the SC/ST class would have been designated today [on Thursday] as Chief Secretary (of Rajasthan) on the premise of rank," Salodia composed to Raje, reports say.

In the letter, Mr. Salodia asserted that the present Chief Secretary C.S. Rajan was given a three-month expansion, till March one year from now, to prevent him the open door from claiming turning into Rajasthan's Chief Secretary.

"Mr Salodia's assertions are unjustifiable. Had the legislature separated on the premise of rank, the Rajasthan Assembly Speaker [Kailash Meghwal] would not be from the SC/ST group."

"The administration will get the matter explored and will make disciplinary move against Mr Salodia taking into account the consequences of the examination," Rathore said.
