A senior pastor has been banned from taking administrations in Winchester ward in light of the fact that he wedded his gay accomplice.
The Reverend Canon Jeremy Davies http://in.usgbc.org/people/zroot-apk/0011040827served as group precentor at Salisbury Cathedral for a long time and has taken administrations at Winchester Cathedral.
In the wake of wedding his accomplice of 30 years in 2014, he has now been told he can no more lecture inside of the ward.
The Church of England said the union was against its peaceful direction on same-sex marriage.
Standard Davies, who is formally resigned, has been involved with musical show vocalist Simon McEnery for almost 30 years and the couple wedded a year prior.

Mr McEnery said: "The congregation needs to inspect itself for institutional homophobia. I think they have to perceive the amount of mischief and harm they are doing to gay individuals."
A representative for the Diocese of Winchester said: "Ordinance Jeremy Davies made an application not long ago for authorization to direct in the Diocese of Winchester.
"Because of the Church of England's position on same sex marriage, as set out in the House of Bishops' peaceful direction, Canon Jeremy Davies has been educated that his application has been unsuccessful."
The Church of England's peaceful direction on same-sex marriage expresses: "The House is most certainly not... willing for the individuals who are in a same-sex marriage to be appointed to any of the three requests of service.
